Sheila G's Brownie Brittle

Oh My Goodness…Meet Sheila G, the infamous baker and creator of the original Brownie Brittle. This may just be the most indulgent and simply satisfying treat I have ever had…I am not kidding! Is there anything better than a brownie? I mean, honestly, brownies are the bomb. They can cure a broken heart, mend a fence, lesson the anxiety of a big presentation…they are heaven, right(unless you are one of those unfortunate souls that don't like chocolate…I am so sorry for you.)I have always said, "If you have nothing else in your pantry when friends show up unexpectedly, you will be the best friend ever!! All you need is a box of brownies on the shelf and you can do amazing things! Or at least have the ingredients on hand if you prefer the homemade variety. I have tried baking both and for whatever reason I prefer the box variety. Go figure. Probably has something to do with a childhood memory.Enters Sheila G., fond of the crispy edges(aren't we all, they are simply the best part of the entire pan of brownies and I would know since I can devour an entire pan by myself with no guilt at all…brownies heal hearts and are therefore deemed medicinal.) she began working with her Grandma's brownie recipe to achieve her brownie brittle. And she was amazingly successful!!!Sheila G Brownie BrittleToday she has a blossoming Brownie Brittle business. I first found Sheila G Brownie Brittle on a trip to Hawaii with my hubby. How could these not be available in Texas!!! I am happy to report that one year later, they have made their way to Texas and are now available in four varieties.ChocolateChip Brownie Brittle

Just tried the Toffee Crunch today and it is every bit as wonderful as the other varieties. My goodness…what a treat for the soul. And the best part to this very indulgent treat is that the calorie count is so much less than a full sized brownie! I don't know about you, but these days, every calorie counts this fifty year old lady.Check out Sheila's website and blog and get yourself some brownie brittle for the holidays!! Give it as a gift! Who wouldn't love a little bit of heaven :)Order Now!Indulge yourself :)Kim
